Thank you for participating in Big Pink Breakfast 🧁☕ 2024!

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Big Pink Breakfast 2024. We are so grateful for our communities and supporters who organised breakfasts or wore as much pink as possible to support people and families affected by breast cancer across Ireland.

Thanks to your generosity, breast cancer patients can access support throughout their diagnosis. From Cork to Donegal, Galway to Dublin and everywhere in between, your donations are making a difference every day.

You have made a Really Big Difference by hosting a Big Pink Breakfast. Together, we have the power to change the lives of people with breast cancer now – and into the future! We can’t wait to see you all back again next year!

See the impact of your support

Each year in Ireland, almost 3,400 women and around 30 men are diagnosed with breast cancer. Your generosity allows us to push for kinder treatments, provide critical patient services, and advocate for policies that prioritise cancer care.

By supporting the Irish Cancer Society, you're ensuring that vital services like free transport to treatment, night nursing care, counselling sessions, and our Support Line are available to those who need them most.

The Importance Of Being Breast Aware

This vital information will help you identify what is normal or irregular for you so that you can spot any changes at the earliest possible time. It is more common in those over 50, but it can affect younger women and men as well.

The sooner you notice a change, the better because if cancer is found early, treatment is more likely to be successful. It is best to get into the habit of checking your breasts regularly - read our guide here. This will help you notice any changes that may occour. Read more about breast health awareness here.
