Introduction
The Irish Cancer Society wishes to invite researchers to submit an application for the Public and Patient Involvement Awards 2023.
Purpose and Objectives
The Irish Cancer Society is committed to putting patients, families, carers, survivors, supporters and the public at the very heart of what we do. Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) in the research process ensures that research is meaningful and of benefit to those directly and indirectly affected by cancer.
The Irish Cancer Society’s Public and Patient Involvement Awards aim to support excellent Irish-based cancer researchers in all disciplines, to foster and grow their public and patient involvement activities.
The Irish Cancer Society strongly encourages initiatives which promote involvement and equity of access for individuals and groups from hard to reach and under-represented populations, ensuring diverse representation of the population.
Please see the guidelines for applicants for eligibility criteria.
