Triple assessment
I have a triple assessment next week. I was in with the consultant this week, the lump I have is large and they said the lymph nodes on that side feel swollen too. The assessment feels like it is months away rather than days! My mind keeps thinking the worse, I'm usually a very positive person. I'm trying so hard to keep it together at home and in work!
I need some words of wisdom to get me through the next few days/weeks!

Gosh I'm sorry you're going through this. I know how agonising it is. Life feels completely turned upside down for you right now. But let me tell you, if it doesn't go in your favour, it's this waiting time that is the worst time of it all. I'm only answering under the assumption that you might get a diagnosis. Everything will move along very quickly. Treatments are easier, recovery from surgery is easier, adjustment to it all is easier. It's all easier than you think. Please don't struggle alone, talk to somebody. Get out and walk. Eat well and drink lots of water . Bring someone with you to the appointment. It'd hard to focus now, but you're stronger than you think. I wish somebody has said that to me. I too turned to this page in sheer distress, but I got through and here I am complaining about cooking the dinner!! I promise , normal life comes back.

Glad to hear you are doing well!!!! Nothing will stop me complaining about cooking dinner ha ha ha . I had my triple assessment yesterday, got a few biopsies of the lump were its denser and some from the lymph nodes. They didn't give me any information on what it could be just that they will call me within the next 2 weeks for the results appointment. They were the kindest nurses and doctors I've ever come across.
I read your message just before I went in for my assessment and it helped my a lot, your words are so kind and reassuring. I really appreciate you taking the time to message me!

It is very understandable that you are finding it hard to keep it together, it is always a very stressful time while waiting on hospital appointments.
