considering reconstruction but im scared

I havent gotten to that stage yet. Im heading in for a mastectomy on tuesday. I cant have recon at the same time, but definately will as soon as i can.

Do you know what type you would like to have? Have you talked to your doctor or whoever you would talk to at this stage?

I havent really had a chat with the doctors yet, but am in line to
see a surgeon in the near future and will hold on to what he says.

In the meantime best of luck to you pet on Tuesday, and i will keep
you in my prayers.
You will be fine stay positive and work with the team in the hospital
this in turn will help you, believe me.

Best of luck tomorrow - I will light a candle for you. Don't worry - all will go fine and the team will look after you very very well.
I will be goiing for my recon during the summer so will post all the details here - take your time - I had my op two years ago in July coming and I am glad I waited till now to have the recon as I feel much healthier and able for the op.
The mastectomy bras and inserts you will get to keep you going will be very very good -
