Hi
Just wondering did anyone get advise on removing coil (with hormone)I know you can't mention names .oncologist said it was fine to leave it there as it had a low dose hormone in it. But was back for check in breast care and doctor said to get it removed I'm finished all treatment. I had lumpectomy followed by radiotherapy and tamoxifen for 5years

Hi Elizo,
I was advised against using the coil with the hormone in it as well. My Oncologist recommended the Copper coil which my GP fitted and that one has no hormone in it.
Maybe you could ask them about that one might suit you better,
Best wishes,
Bernie

Hi There!

I have the coil in and there seems to have been no issue with me having mine in as my cancer was ER & PR negative.

I'm sure that makes things clear as mud Image removed.
