More scans after MRI

HI all,last week after a mammogram,ultra sound and 2 biopsy's my Doctor confirmed I had breast cancer.He arranged an MRI and the next day a nurse called to say I needed another mammogram and scan.I asked her why and she said she hadn't got the Doctors notes and he just wanted to verify something.Has this happened to any one else?

Thanks for your reply Mardi, going in today hope it's ok the thoughts of the mammogram are worse, it's a torture device 
I had to go back for a 2nd mammogram after diagnosis because there was another area of my breast they were concerned might be precancerous. They did a biopsy on it via mammogram, which came back negative. If it had been positive, I would have definitely needed a mastectomy rather than a lumpectomy as tumor was on the opposite side of the nipple.
