Post Treatment effects
Hi
does anyone have any experience of post treatment effects. I am so fatigued, unbelievably forgetful & can be quite depressed at times. Generally finding it difficult to cope. Should be so happy that the worst is behind me but find it difficult functioning "normally" or whatever the new normal is. Was back at work part-time but found I couldn't cope & am now back out on sick leave & awaiting re-con.
Would appreciate knowing if anyone else has had this experience.

Oh gosh, that's me too........ My energy is just drained out of me.... I get to do a few bits around the house and I'm wrecked after it.... I'd love to be able to take the dogs out, I'm just not able.... You start to think then, well it's being a month since recon, I should surely be back on track.... worry then that people will think I'm just pulling the sympathy card Coffee doesn't even get me going!!!!

You could be describing me! Feeling so low have some good days with bursts of energy but seem to pay for them. Getting my last herceptin on 13th June with results from all my tests so fingers crossed for that.
I know my reply isn't very positive but it's nice to know there are others in the same boat and I'm not a freak!
Look after yourself recovery really does take time. Spoil or treat yourself if you can!
