Biopsy results
Hi all,
I had mamo, US and biopsy last Tuesday and got phone call today to attend clinic for results next tuesday.
The lady on the phone didn't mention bringing someone with me for results so I'm assuming the news is good. Just wondering if it's a good sign and also what the protocol is, can I bring someone with me during covid times?

Thanks for your response Jane2021, I hope your results are ok, I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday. I'll be attending Beaumont can I ask if you are too, just to see if it's the same across the hospital groups.

I hope your results go well on Tuesday I attended Beaumont last Tuesday for results and I was advised to bring someone with me and I’m glad I did. I will also have my husband with me this Tuesday for results.

Can I ask, when you went in for your first app, did you go alone? I have my first app this Tues in Beaumont and don't know if I should ask someone to come with me or if its allowed.

Hi Ash, my first appointment was last Tuesday, I have a lump which was checked by consultant, mamo us and biopsy done there and then in Beaumont. I have to say the service was excellent everyone was really nice and kind. I had call yesterday from Mr. Allen's secretary to come in Tuesday for an early appointment that wouldn't take long. She didn't mention bringing anyone along with me so I'm assuming it's good news. Best of luck to you too on Tuesday Ash x

Its says on the letter to go alone... I haven't told anyone I'm going so I'd have been alone anyway. Do we find out anything on 1st appointment do you know
Hi banjo78, ideas referred by GP for first app last week we're all test were carried out on the day. I was just told I'd receive results with 7-10 days and got phone call from secretary on Fri to attend tomorrow (1week later) for results. She didn't say to bring anyone along so hoping it's nothing it'll be a long drive home after if it is. Best of luck with your app they are all lovely and kind.

Hi, I got a call today to attend the clinic Tuesday for results also. I was told to bring someone with me. I took that as a bad sign. If I were you I would have someone in the carpark just to be there for you
