First time posting - recurrence after 12 fantastic years!
Had mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy 12 years ago when I was 40. All brill till before Christmas when it came back on my lung. Thankfully, doctors are very positive about it and telling me I'll be around for a very long time.
First scan since starting hormone treatment next Wednesday so just feeling 'slightly terrified'! Would love people to pray for me. Thanks a mil everyone.

I cant even imagine how you feel, and I'm sure terrified doesn't even cover it.
All I can say is that you've beaten it once and I hope you knock it out of the park second time around.

(Thank you all for the private messages and posts. Got mixed news at my oncologist.... the hormone treatment is working perfectly and he is really happy with that, another scan in 3 months and then down to 6 monthly which is good. However, he just added in a bye the way that the mark that they had seen least year on my sacrem(bottom of spine) was probably cancer too as the treatment is clearing up that too. I have to go on Zometa every month now.
Feeling shocked and low and would love you all to pray that I can get my head around this.

I can't imagine how you must be feeling. I am awaiting tests after fighting it for the first time. You have beat it before and you can do it again!
