Found a lump, now what?

Hi all, I found a lump last night in my left breast, what now, just wait to see gp on Monday? Is there anything else I can do? Feeling so flustered, I haven't told my husband cause I don't want to freak him out.
Dear kildaregirl, thank you for your post, women often feel distressed and worried when finding a breast lump, we always recommend to visit your GP which you have scheduled, from there they may send you to a symptomatic breast clinic for further tests such as a mammogram, 9 out of 10 breast lumps are benign but the doctors have to be sure.
