Invasive Lobular BC

Hi,
I was recently diagnosed with Invasive lobular breast cancer. I have had lumpectomy nearly a week ago so waiting to get results of margins and lymph node biopsy.
It’s all very surreal and hard to accept at the moment.

Hi mos1977,
I had a lumpectomy with Licap reconstruction & node clearance in April. Waiting for results is so hard. I found focusing on my recovery, walking & taking really helped me at each stage. I also agree that accepting my diagnosis was something I also had to work through. Mind yourself

Welcome to the community and sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with breast cancer. What you are feeling is perfectly understandable. Don't be too hard on yourself. Cry and scream if you need to and take things a day at a time.
