iron defient anaemia

Hello ladies
Just a quick question.I have been really tired over the last few weeks which turns out to be iron defient anaemia and no iron reserves.With no obvious reason for this,ive had hysterectomy so cant be that,im wondering should I report it to oncologist as have noticed a small bit of weight loss too.
