Repeat CT scan
I have to have a repeat CT scan in August as the first one showed a cyst on my kidney and my liver. Im so scared about it , Ive just had Breast caner and a mastectomy and Im so scared that there is other cancer there although they said it isnt cancerous. Has anyone else had a similar experience with positive outsome

I have just joined. I also had to go for a repeat scan. I had tiny nodules on one of my lungs. I was worried when I was told I had to have a repeat scan. However my oncologist said these were very common and that they would normally not even look at them. But they were just being ubber cautious. I have had my scan and all was fine.

Shortly after my treatment for breast cancer I was called for a full body bone scan as an MRI I had showed lesions on my spine. They turned out to be benign and again my consultant said that because of my cancer he had to follow up on it to be sure. So stay positive & fingers crossed all will be well

Many thanks for your replies. I feel better now , my surgeon said the same to me , that they have to follow up on every little thing that shows up. Hopefully all will be well
Take hope from the fact that they said it isn't cancer and it's a cyst. That's good news .
