I reckon by your user name that like me you are from the Wexford area
I went through something similar to you last year and went to Waterford
Regional also ended up having immediate recon using a tissue expander and later implant, but I know they dont use tissue expanders any more
(Stopped about 2 weeks after my op).

I would love to hear how the experience was for you. I am more facing mastectomy too with recon....hoping to have DIEP! It is all so head wrecking!
