Hi Memomymo,

I don't have lung cancer but wanted you to have a reply. This forum can be a little quiet at times. I hope your tests turn out to be negative but if not you can continue to chat on here. I know small consolation but we are here. Finances are a great worry at times like this and most people need a fair bit of time off work for treatment. Although I have a friend with lung cancer who is working through chemotherapy and says she is doing ok apart from fatigue. Think she is mad but she likes to keep active! If you do get diagnosed best to see a social worker asap and see what you are entitled to to help out.

Wish you luck and a clear diagnosis & plan soon.

Keep us informed.

All the best
A x

Hi Memomymo,
Thanks so much in replying to my post. My husband (seperated) had prostrate cancer some years ago so I will have to wait for tests to see result. Image removed.

Hi Memomymo

I'm not in the 'lung club' either, mine is breast cancer too, so I can't talk about specifics of lung cancer but have been through the treatment like everyone else on here. I think Avalanche gave you really good advice, I would second everything she said. Try not to imagine the worst scenario when you haven't got a confirmed diagnosis. I know it's really hard. When you learn all this first it seems like your world has come crashing down, but there are people there to help from nurses and doctors to social workers etc., just don't be afraid to ask.
I wish you well and hope you have some more clarity soon.
Take care. Image removed.
