Since relaunching the Terry Fox Run in Ireland in 2021, just shy of €60,000 has been raised for world class cancer research! Join us again this year at Herbert Park on September 14th.

Register today for the Terry Fox Run 2024 and support cancer patients and their loved ones across Ireland.

This is a free, non-competitive event on Saturday September 14th at Herbert Park in Ballsbridge, Dublin.

We encourage you to participate however you can - walk or run. Families welcome and encouraged! No competition, no minimum distance, and no limit on how much we can raise to support cancer patients!

The run will take place in Herbert Park and will comprise a simple 1.25km loop, to be completed four times (or as many as you like!), at your own pace, kicking off at the gazebo at the north east entrance to the park.

The registration table will be open from 8:00am, with the run/walk to begin at 9:00am after a brief opening ceremony hosted by special guest Fred Fox, brother of Terry himself!

Humble beginnings...

At 18 years old, Canadian Terry Fox was diagnosed with bone cancer and told his right leg would need to be amputated above the knee. Terry’s personal experience and research led him to a simple conclusion – more money was needed for cancer research. Terry decided to run across Canada to raise funds for cancer research, which has raised more than $850 million since 1980, and to bring hope and health to millions of Canadians. Since relaunching the Terry Fox Run in Ireland in 2021, we have raised just shy of 60,000 Euros for world-class cancer research!
