Date for your Diary - MAC General Meeting

Men Against Cancer, the prostate cancer support group, is holding its Annual Meeting on Saturday May 12 in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate Street, Dublin at 11am, finishing with light refreshments at 1.30pm

Prof John Fitzpatrick, Head of Research at the Irish Cancer Society, and Helen Forristal, Cancer Nurse Co-ordinator at St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin are the guest speakers at the event. Prof Fitzpatrick is a leading urologist who has been associated for many years with the Mater Hospital, and he will talk about diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer in senior adults.  Helen Forristal will speak on the prospects for men and their families with prostate cancer.  All are welcome to attend the meeting which will provide an opportunity for men to learn more about their disease and treatment and to meet with others. Further information is available from mac.macireland.menagainstcancer@gmail.com or 087 2474217NOTE: Men Against Cancer (MAC) provides direct support to men and their families who have been diagnosed with prostate or testicular cancer.
