Have your say on the next national cancer strategy

The Department of Health is seeking the views of the public on cancer services and on priorities for a new Cancer Strategy.  The Minister for Health, Leo Varadkar has committed to maintaining high standards of cancer care while emphasising the prevention of cancer and care for cancer survivors.

The Irish Cancer Society wants the new strategy to tackle the serious issue of the ‘cancer gap’ – the difference in cancer diagnosis rates and cancer death rates between communities in Ireland.
