Irish Cancer Society position on clothing banks in wake of Prime Time Investigates

Last night’s Prime Time Investigates programme on RTE 1 was a worrying glimpse into the world of charity and bogus clothing collections.

If you're thinking of having a clear-out make sure you know that your goods will benefit a charity you want to support.

Please be aware that the Irish Cancer Society does not currently operate clothing banks or bins.

We are always looking for unwanted clothes, shoes, books, bric-a-brac and household items, so if you want to donate some of your unwanted items to the Irish Cancer Society, please bring them to one of our charity shops.
