Living Life exercise programme for secondary cancer

Living Life is a medically supervised exercise programme for people with secondary cancer. The programme is currently seeking applications from participants who would like to join the programme which is based in DCU Sport in Dublin.

Participants will be encouraged to become fit in a friendly and safe environment. Classes take place twice weekly in DCU Sport. Participants will have baseline (and repeat) assessments of fitness / wellness and take part in enjoyable exercise classes with medical supervision / monitoring in a casual and friendly atmosphere. There will also be educational seminars on topics such as healthy eating and goal setting and behaviour change,

The programme is a collaboration between DCU Sport, Beaumont Hospital  and the Mater Hospital. The programme costs €7 per session o €6 per session with medical card or €45  per month/ €40 per month with medical card.
