Physical Activity Programme for Prostate Cancer Survivors in Dublin beginning on 18th of August 2012

We are now recruiting prostate cancer survivors to take part in our physical activity programme which will be based in Dublin and which will begin on the 18th of August 2012. The programme will run for 16 weeks and will consist of a walking and resistance training programme  This runs free exercise programmes is for men who have had a prostate cancer diagnosis aims to encourage and then to become active and to increase their physical activity levels.Research has shown that being physically active after a prostate cancer diagnosis can help rebuild health and well being and may also help increase long term survival.  To find out more information or to sign up for the programme please contact Eimear Cotter on 01 2316624 or fitness@cancer.ie Visit www.cancer.ie/reduce-your-risk/your-health/exercise-after-cancer for all the information about our Physical Activity programme.
