Street Fundraisers

Our Street Fundraisers work across the country to raise awareness for the needs of cancer patients and families. In communities and towns nationwide, you’ll find us nearby for a friendly and informative discussion on ways to get involved in support of everyone going through a cancer diagnosis today.

Around 42,000 people in Ireland receive a cancer diagnosis every year. Sadly, 9,000 people die from this disease. It is our mission to ensure everyone has access to world class support at every stage of their cancer diagnosis.

We typically receive only 5% of funding from the government. It’s the kind generosity of our community that we can meet the rising demand for support. Our teams specialize in monthly giving, a highly effective way to raise much-needed funds for vital cancer support for everyone in need.

Stop by to say hello! We’ll be in full Irish Cancer Society branded jackets and t-shirts with special ID badges too.  As representatives of the Irish Cancer Society, our teams are qualified and professional fundraisers with a commitment to deliver the highest quality and care at all times.

The kindness shown through monthly giving is amazing. It ensures we have reliable income to plan efficiently. We can be as effective as possible with this type of funding to provide vital services for everyone in need today and into the future.

Thanks to our community, a cancer patient wont have to face cancer alone - they’ll have your support by their side. And that is something really special.
