Audio: Jim Bolger talks about Hurling for Cancer Research

The second Hurling for Cancer Research fundraising match takes place at St Conleth's Park, Newbridge, Co Kildare on Tuesday, August 13th. Here's some audio of Jim Bolger talking about the big game.

Mr Bolger is a legend of horseracing, having trained the winners of nine Classics in Britain and Ireland, including the Epsom Derby with New Approach in 2008.

But having spearheaded the first ever Hurling for Cancer Research in 2012, raising €123,000 for Irish Cancer Society Research in the process, he is turning his attention to Gaelic games again next week with a rematch against a team captained by star National Hunt jockey Davy Russell.

In addition to the two racing legends, there will be many more celebrities from the worlds of sport, entertainment and business in Newbridge on the day, including Ryanair chief Michael O'Leary, All-Ireland winning hurling managers Liam Griffin, Brian Cody and Cyril Farrell, 1958 Olympic gold medallist Ronnie Delany, legendary radio commentator Micheál O Muircheartaigh, Seoige sisters Sile and Grainne - among many others!
