Senator David Norris to shave beard on the Ray D’Arcy Show
The senator made a promise to Ray D'Arcy Show listeners last week.
Senator David Norris made a pledge to Ray D’Arcy Show listeners that he would shave off his beard if the public voted against the referendum to abolish the Seanad.
True to his word, the senator told Ray, after the defeat of the referendum, that he would indeed shave it off and that he would raise money for charity at the same time.
It's a big moment for Senator Norris - he’s had the beard for 40 years!
The big shave will take place live on The Ray D'Arcy Show on Tuesday 22nd October.
All monies raised will go to Today FM's Shave or Dye, benefiting the Irish Cancer Society.
