Headaches and tinnitus type symptoms in right ear after ac chemo therapy.

Last reply: 15 May 2020 16:40
Hi, I am being treated for metatistic breast cancer . I received 4th session of ac chemo therapy on Wednesday following an 8 week delay due to corona virus precautions. I have a very heavy feeling / headache and a tinnitus type sensation in my left ear. I experienced this on my 2nd session but not so much on my last on my last. My tummy is also sore, not painful. Any suggestions on how I might ease this..... it did ease slightly when I went out walking but came back after, Thank you so much

When palitive care are involved

Last reply: 05 May 2020 16:57
Hi All, My mam was diagnosed with osephagus cancer about two years ago. She had an operation and two set of chemo. However before Christmas she went for a scan and the cancer had spread and she was told to do another set of chemo..but after having one session it has made her weak. Palitive care team are involved..Ive seen my mam recently and got permission from the Gardai to visit her..it's been difficult because we have to wear PPE gear and I would just love for my mam to see my face with out all the gear on..I know we have to bit since she may only have little time left with us..the whole covid thing has destroyed are family communication. Because we are worried our poor mam might get it and she would be sent to hospital where we may not see her because of the virus. I'm in bits I thought the treatment might work and she would get more time with her grand children..I'm grieving already and I'm so scared for her. Any advice would be wonderful. Many thanks xx

Tamoxifen Worries

Last reply: 23 April 2020 18:53
Hello There. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in January. Had a mastectomy in March. Now I've to start Hormone Therapy. Tamoxifen and an injection every month. I have come away from my appt with Oncology with worries n doubts. I have not read 1 good thing about Tamoxifen.. it just seems to be torture. I'm very reluctant to even go get the prescription.. Why are Oncologists prescribing it, when the feedback is so awful? I'm 33. Due to get married this year and just cant cope with the thought of this. It's already causing me major stress, anxiety and I have not even started it.
