If you, or someone you care about has been diagnosed with cancer, you may have questions and concerns. We at Sligo Cancer Support Centre are here to offer you a place of peace and hope. A place where you and your family can access one to one support, counselling, holistic therapies, various workshops and information in a caring and tranquil environment.

The charity provides free support services to those impacted by a cancer diagnosis, their families and carers in Waterford City, County and surrounding areas.

A wide range of free services are available including reflexology, massage, reiki, acupuncture, counselling, along with play therapy and art therapy for children and adolescents.

The service also offers weekly classes in meditation and yoga along with a range of Support groups that include a men’s support group, art group, walking group, choir and crochet group.

On a monthly basis we offer Information and education sessions on a wide range of topics including nutrition, bereavement support, difficult conversations with children around cancer, exercise and many more topics relevant to our clients.

We work in partnership with other aligned organisations in offering survivorship programmes such as Cancer Thriving and Surviving, Strides for Life, ExWell and Look Good Feel Better.

Suaimhneas Cancer Support Centre strives to provide assistance to all those affected by cancer in a confidential environment. We offer information and support at any stage from time of diagnosis, during treatment and beyond. This information and support is available to those with a cancer diagnosis, their carers or family members.

Our services are offered in a calm and safe environment free of charge. Services include, but are not limited to: Counselling, Refelxology, Massage, Yoga and Group Activities such as Arts & Crafts.

Suir Haven, offers emotional support, practical help and information and education to anyone with a cancer diagnosis, their Carers or family members. We offers counselling, reflexology, acupuncture, massage, yoga, arts and crafts and many courses all free of charge. We are funded by North Tipperary Hospice which relies completely on fundraising and voluntary contributions.

Tallaght Cancer Support Group was founded in February 2007. It is a place where many people touched by cancer and their family and friends are finding support in a caring, confidential and welcoming environment. We look forward to continuing this service into the future and we are very grateful for the generous support and financial help that has been given to us by the local people, local businesses and many people from outside the area. This generosity enables us to bring comfort to many.

Tuam Cancer Care provides emotional, psychological and practical support to people with a cancer diagnosis and to their families. All services are free of charge. Services include: Information & Support, Counselling, Child & Adolescent art therapy, MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage), Complementary Therapies: Oncology massage, oncology reflexology, Physical Activity Programmes (both face to face and online options), Chair Yoga (face to face and online options), post mastectomy care clinics, Cancer Thrive & Survive Programme, CLIMB Programme and other cancer related workshops and talks.

YouCan Cancer Support is a charity that has been operating since 2015. We work with and for young adults who have been diagnosed in their 20s 30s and 40s.

We know all too well that having a cancer diagnosis in early adulthood brings some unique challenges and can be very isolating, so we set up YouCan to specifically support young adults.

we are not a medical care provider but we are alongside you throughout treatment and in the months and years that follow as we understand the need for continuous support and understanding.
