Has anyone been on Femara?

I think its great that you are noticing a reduction in your lump already. I don't know much about Femara and have never taken it so don't know if it could reduce it completely.

I would recommend that you ring your Breast Care Nurse and ask her. You should have been given her number when you were visiting your consultant and were diagnosed. If you were not, ring the reception of the hospital you attend and ask to be put through to a Breast Care Nurse. Don't feel you are wasting anyone's time - they are there to help with exactly these sorts of query.

I totally understand your confusion and that you are anxious to have your tumour removed. So many of us just want the damn thing out ASAP when we find out we have one. But try to be patient and keep reminding yourself that by shrinking the tumour first, you are doing all you can to make your surgery even more successful.

Thanks for your response and yes I did get in touch with my BC nurse and she is very happy about the fact it seems to be reducing. The fact that it is means that it will stop the cancer spreading as well. Think this is what they are hoping for. I think the waiting around for things to happen is the worst ever, but as you may see in my new posting that I have just adopted two beautiful beagle pups which are giving me something else to be thinking about loving every moment of it!
