Two down, four to go!!!!

Last reply: 04 February 2013 08:38

Chemo two has been, and it was nowhere near as nerve wracking as number 1. I got to chat loads to Dee today and met Darina, so all in all a good day! I'm on stronger anti sickness drugs this time and although may not stop me feeling totally icky, may help the cause!!!!

Good girl that's the positive attitude to have. Keep knocking them off and before you know it you'll be finished like me. I've started taking difene for my leg could hardly walk last night. Improved a little this morning. Was supposed to be going to a hotel tonight with my mum and two cousins but my uncle ended up in hospital yesterday but he may get out today and if he does we will try and go tomorrow. I can't seem to make plans lately!!!

Thanks neadie great to hear you so positive and you were dreading starting the chemo. I'd love to pop in to see you, looks like I won't be starting rads till end of march. Oncologist said three/four weeks after op, surgeon says six, so I don't really know. Xxx

Well I'm in on April 4th and 25th all running smoothly!! They tend to wait at least 6 weeks after surgery before they go on to the next step....

How did it go last Monday? Dud they get the margins they were looking for?

Yes she said six alright but I'm not in till this Monday to remove the remainder so it'll be six weeks from Monday which will be near end of march so ill definitely try and catch up with you in April. That's a date!!!
