Breast Cancer...

Hi
Worried, have a rash , pain in my r/breast for over 6 months. Went to GP who refered me as urgent to breast clinic in limerick for review. My dad died of cancer, my mam survived it and now very worried,
Also getting really bad pains in my leg. Gp said could be linked as no other explanation. Getting really worried as only 34 and 2 youngs kids. Good to talk to others.

Hi Rachael,
You have taken your first step in the right direction by going to GP. I know it's worrying waiting fir appointments and results, but at least when you know what's what you can begin dealing with them. It's better for you to know than not as sometimes the not knowing is more worrying. Best of luck over the coming weeks, try not to worry to much and take care.

I am sorry to hear of your symptoms. As a GP working in Dublin I can only reassure until you are seen in the breast clinic that rash and breast pain is not the commonest way for breast cancer to present. Hope that helps somewhat
